Message from Davy Hackett
President of the Virginia Foxhound Training Preserve Owners Association
Your team, VFTPOA, has been extremely visible at the General Assembly and the Members are hearing loud and clear from VFTPOA. Personal visits to the General Assembly on the Owners behalf have made a lot of headway.
Personal visits by Davy Hackett, Charles Allen, Jennifer Hackett and Allan Bishop have not only educated the members of the General Assembly, but have also shown that these bills are a pointed attack on fox preserve owners, rural life, rural economy and the future of hounding. Also General Assembly members are starting to hear from you, VFTPOA members. Keep the pressure on!!
VFTPO urges you to oppose HB 1188 that makes it a crime for charging admission for the participation in any event or exhibition at which a dog and either a coyote or a fox are placed into an enclosed area.
